Going to Florida when you’re older is a whole new experience. You are able to do more things, be able to go out without parents, and just think of your vacation as a..well a vacation. It’s such a relaxation experience. I went to Naples, Florida when I was a junior in high school for spring break with my best friend, Mollie. We stayed with her older sister, brother-in-law, and nieces and nephews in their condo. Me and Mollie would just walk to the pool and lay out to soak up the sun and have a few drinks. We met a guy named Connor at the pool who said he would love to show us around. Call me crazy, but me and Mollie agreed for a little tour around the town with a total complete stranger. When I said you can do more things without parents, I never would have thought of getting into a car with a stranger. It was cool though! Naples is more of a retirement city for older people. Nothing too crazy for teenagers to get into, but not boring at all. We hit up beaches, went shopping at outside stores, and got veryyyy tan. I would probably want to hit up Panama for my next Florida trip. I’ll be 2 years older and it would be so fun to get a group of people to go! Naples was my last trip, but I’m hoping to see “The Sunshine State” a lottttt sooner!
I love Florida too! I went to Panama a lot when I was younger but have been itching to go as an adult with some friends. The last time I was there was in high school and the strip was so much fun but my folks would never let us do the cool stuff like rent scooters or take a helicopter ride. I did however sneak and buy a shirt the said “Just Do Me” and got in trouble with my English teacher when I got back and tried to wear it to school.
