I say Florida, you think…what? The first thing that pops into your head is probably warm weather, beaches, relaxation, etc. For little ones, they already know what they’re thinking…DISNEY. Disney World is the best place in the whole wide world! It’s where dreams come true and reality becomes a blur. Even for adults, they are taken back to the years of princesses, knights in shining armor, and happily ever after stories that they remember from their own past. I didn’t step into Disney World until I was 10 years old. It was the best moment of my life. There is a picture of me ahead of my whole family walking towards Cinderella’s castle. I loved it and wanted to take it all in. I had tea with Minnie Mouse, tried to pull out the sword that King Arthur couldn’t, and I even rode on Dumbo, the flying elephant. The point of this Florida vacation is to take children to Disney World as soon as possible. The people I babysit for are actually in Disney World at this very moment. They have 4 year old triplets. I can’t wait to see them Thursday so the kids can excitedly tell me how happy they were when they got there. I’m not saying it’s JUST for the little ones, I’m just saying they are the ones who will appreciate it the most out of anyone who takes a walk down a fairytale path…
I went to Disney World when I was about 12, and at the time was really disappointed with it. I think it was just an awkward age to go at because the rides (other than Tower of Terror and Rockin’ Roller Coaster) were mostly for little kids, and Epcot bored me to tears. I think if I were to go back now I’d really enjoy it though.
